How do you download media such as ringtones or videos you receive via message with the Droid ERIS?

I just got the Droid ERIS for Verizon and I can't figure out how to download or save any media I receive besides photos. I tried to send my Droid ringtones from a different phone but it just comes up as a song and I can't figure out how to save them from there. Is this not even a feature on this phone? Because if that's the case then that's really stupid.

3. I use phonezoo & this is how i get them: When you receive the message: 1.Open the message 2.Go into my music 3.Select downloads 4.Select the tone 5.Press the options key and apply as ringtone is an option
