iPhone questions - video and ringtones?

I have 2 questions about my recently purchased Iphone: 1. Does it take video? I don't see the option anywhere, but that would shock me as even crap phones have video. And, 2. I heard that you can take your own music from your ITunes, put them on your IPhone, and then use them As ringtones. Is this possible? If so how do I do it. Thanks! !

1. No, the iPhone does not take video only photos....however it does play videos. Yes, you can use itunes music to make ringtones...the easiest way is to download iToner ( http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/iToner/ ) with this simple application all you have to do is connect you iPhone and drag any .mp3 file into the main window and it converts it and uploads it to your phone automatically.
2. the best way i did it was go to itunes and look for one of your fav songs..........Look for songs with Bells on the side then once downloaded you right click the bell and make your ringtone. All of this will cost you 2 dollars but hey it works
3. 1. No it doesn't take video, but it has great video quality when your watching videos. 2. Well in iTunes you have to pay for that. But there are other ways. I use a website called http://www.mobile17.com Sign up for an account and create ringtones out of files you already have (songs) Then you pick which starting point and ending point the ringtone should have, they email you the ringtone You click download attachment in the email and click open and it should open in the ringtones section in iTunes. Then just sync your iPhone and that's it!
4. www.VENTONES.com its a free site and it works great for the iphone. I make all my ringtones for my Iphone there from mp3 files. After you create a ringtone from an mp3 file with their free ringtone maker, do this 1) Click on the Blue Button called "Click Here To Download Your Iphone Ringtone" 2) download the ringtone to your computer 3) drag and drop that file to your Itunes then sync it with the iphone
